- What Is It?
-
This is a workshop for girl tweens to encourage, elevate, and empower them.
- Who Can Join?
-
Any girl currently in 4th–8th grade. Click the button below to register then watch for an email with directions for the next steps.
- What to Expect?
-
The participants will enjoy inspiring speakers, an art project, swag bags, and fellowship. They even get to participate in a mini portrait session where they will become the artwork!
- Did you say a portrait session?
-
As a thank you for participating, each tween will receive a unique gift from Elizabeth Spruill Portraiture. No purchase is required, however, you will have the opportunity to purchase additional portraits after the event.
- Word of the Year?
-
The girls will choose an empowering word of the year. This word will be woven throughout the event in the discussions, craft and photo session. We will even bring their word to life by body painting it on their arm or leg so we can capture amazing photographs that will serve to inspire the participants long after the event is over.
- Don't Forget the Swag!
-
Participants will receive lots of goodies just for participating. Goodies such as branded water bottles, journals and other fun things.
- Thank You For Sharing!
-
While we expect the girls will make new friends at the event, we encourage them to invite a friend or two to register with them. For that matter, we would love if you’d share the event page on social media. Every girl that registers means more donations for our charity, Vanessa Behan of Spokane. More details listed below.

About Who We Are Raising Money For:

Vision and Services:
Vanessa Behan’s vision is to provide immediate refuge for children and support to strengthen families. This evolved from the tragic story of Vanessa Kay Behan, a Spokane girl who died from child abuse injuries at the age of two. Following her death, a group of local business people established our organization so that parents would have a safe place to bring their children in the face of crises.
